Our Class Store!

This week we began using "finger lights" during our reading groups! They are helping keep us on track to read the words as they are written. 

This week we have practiced counting by 5's in various ways. Today we counted combinations of nickels and tallied a "heads" or "tails" coin toss using nickels. We also opened a class store, where friends had to count combinations of nickels by 5's in order to make a purchase. Our class store was selling juice boxes, fruit snacks, toys, and Rice Krispie Treats!
